suggest的用法

suggest指有意或无意的，直接或间接暗示，强调事物的表征等使人引起联想。suggest后面必须加somebody(或者somebody's)doing...：请求某人做某事。如：I suggest my father(father's)stopping smoking.

suggest的基本用法

1.表示“建议”，常用suggest+动词-ing或suggest+that从句，例如：I suggest going out for a walk.我建议出去散步。He suggested that we should start earlier the next day. 他建议我们第二天早点出发。

2.表示“提出”，用suggest+名词/代词，例如：The teacher suggested Tom as the new class representative.老师提议汤姆做新的班级代表。

3.表示“暗示”，用suggest+(to sb.)+that从句，例如：The look on his face suggested to us that he was lying.他脸上的表情暗示我们在撒谎。
